Never know what you’re gonna find under a rock (or two!)
BIG WEEK! Battlepug Vol. 1: Blood and Drool will be out in comic book stores this Wednesday! If you preordered or want to buy it in a regular book store, it should be next week I believe. I know I’ve been talking about it forever, but I really appreciate the support. I hope you all go out and get it or at least order it online. Here’s a link to do just that!

And miraculously, not a single arrow shaft was crushed by rocks.
You know, he’s not bleeding much, so if they had enough corks, they might be able to… nah, he’s a goner.
Good lord, that’s a lot of arrows. However, not a lot of blood, so he miiiiight be alright.
I have a strange feeling that he’s a mage as well and is playing a joke, or was playing possum before the rubble fell on him. Not enough blood (as @zoggy pointed out).
So… those arrows were present under the rubble? They look surprisingly intact…

None of them are super deep looking… just tell him yes, it’ll make him feel better either way.
I’m afraid it’s serious… You have taken an arrow to the knee… and a few other places.
If you’re going to nitpick the amount of blood, you should also mention how improbably clean they are after being buried in rubble.

His color is good. He’s speaking in complete sentences. He’s fine.
Mr. Norton, while I was about to add my comment only to find that 1/2 of the comments are already pointing out the problems in that last panel, I will also say I’m very much enjoying the story, and won’t let this apparently massive brainfart of ignoring basic physics and anatomy spoil my enjoyment

Not one, but two arrows in the knee! That means he can’t even be a guard now…
This is Sword and Sorcery Fantasy. Even that many arrows mean nothing. That’s like, what, 20hp of damage? Shrug it off, you loser!
Pffft, only twelve-ish in the torso, aka vital organ container, so let’s find us a love shack.
Actually, I’m not entirely certain where it is but there’s an artery in the inner thigh that’s very important. There isn’t much blood so it’s possible the arrows didn’t hit it but… if they did, he’s a goner unless someone has a healing spell.
But as others have said, those arrows are strangely unbent so it’s possibly some kind of glamor. Either way, we’ll find out next Monday. XD

Come on guys, this is a tale being told to talking dogs, and meant for children to be able to read. Having his body fully opened up from all those injuries would be a bit much.
