WordPress has been really hinky lately and I’ve been getting all kinds of error messages here and there. If you’re having problems viewing the site, just know we’re working on it. Make sure to keep spreading the Battlepug word! We appreciate it so much!
Also, sorry about killing the bird.
Spread the word, won't you?

Catwulf seemed surprised that our hero is a Kinmundian…I am intrigued what that may mean. Perhaps some sort of prophecy predicted a Kinmundian would kill him (Catwulf)?
Or maybe he’s surprised how bad a job he did on them that one actually survived the massacre. But I like your theory, kinda hoping it’s right.
I wonder how far the definition of “beast” is, for Catwulf’s immortality? Spiders are technically not animals, but he can summon them. What about other humans, dwarves, and other sentient mammals? Do they fuel his power, too? If Catwulf can draw on all bugs and arachnids, depending on his range, there’s no way to kill him short of a nuke.
Spiders are a part of the animal kingdom too, dude. Look up the definition.
Why is it that every comic you post requires a screaming guitar solo?
Die! Or the bird gets it!
I see a time when the last great beast left is Battlepug. Will the Kinmundian sacrifice his friend to destroy Catwulf once and for all?
Got a better idea – jam his summon-magic briefly somehow, revert the pug to stock size, THEN kill the distinguished gentleman and keep the pug as your pet, huh? Deal?
If Catwulf speaks truth, then the pug must die. Bryony is not going to like this.
How about we kill off Bryony instead of the pug?
I call the drumstick!
Just started reading this last week (found the link from 2GAG)
Catwolf’s shock seems more from the ‘Last of the Kinmundians’ line, and kinda coincides with what that spirit gopher-thing said about how Cohan was not the last (maybe Catwolf was keeping another {Molly perhaps?} for some dastardly reason and with Cohan claiming the title may mess up whatever those reasons may be)
Oh yeah, gotta love Cohan’s grin in the 2nd last panel
(with that jawline and smirk, makes me think of Bruce Campbell
)
I wonder if dismemberment would make it difficult to keep his **** together enough to keep doing his bad guy act.
I love how his face looks all “CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!”
Love the giant hawk! Your drawing reminds me a little of the European Artist Albert Uderzo of Asterix fame. It’s a very appealing style, very fluid and energetic.
Thanks Mr Norton.. I now hold your two Pug-Comics in my Hands
and I’m happy!
Very, very nice greetz from Germany.
That’s what the bird gets for not wearing armor.
