Today’s pups are “celebrity battlepugs”. Author Jamie S. Rich sent along these pics. He often collaborates with the extremely talented artist Joelle Jones on projects, and she just so happens to own two of the cutest pugs I’ve seen in a while.

This is Boss. He’s a Boss. Very stately.

This is Polly. If you can look at this picture and not go “AWWWWW”, you are a monster.

There you have it. You should go to both Jamie and Joelle’s websites and buy their stuff. Keep these pugs in the lifestyle they’re obviously accustomed to.

FRIDAY! Time for your pug pics!

Let’s start on a little sad note, this one is an “in memoriam” for us. Cody here passed away last year at the age of 15 (That’s a long time for a pug!). But he was pampered all of those 15 years and you can tell from the photo, he was a happy little guy.

And now, an even SADDER note! This is Bendis! This photo is proof of how super-villains are created. His owner assures us that one day we will be his slaves.

It’s that time of the week again! As usual, we have some good ones!

First up, Rocky! Badass protector of pugs every where. However, Rocky has a light side and a dark side.

Next up is the cutest thing I’ve seen lately. Dexter! Dexter just came home to Chicago from the same family as my boy, Ninja. So I consider this guy family. Plus, he’s got superhero toys. How cool is that??

This Week’s Reader Submitted “Battlepugs”

Man, I like these two.

First up, CRICKET! Cricket is creeping me out in this pic. Her owner says she’s merely rising from her foxhole to do battle with the forces of evil, and to protect the soft, cushy, squeaky, multi-colored Jack of Victory. I think she looks like a trap door spider about to pounce. I hate spiders.

But I love pugs!

This is Doug. Doug the pug. Doug is a true warrior. You can tell by the hair, which is not completely fake in any way.

Reader Battlepugs for 6/17!

We’re about to take off for the Summit CIty Comic Con in Ft. Wayne, IN today, but I wanted to post two of your reader submitted “battlepugs”! Got some cute ones today!

First up, Tank!
Apparently Tank lost his eye defending his breakfast but he’s still a fierce warrior. This was taken right before he went on an epic pirating adventure.

This is Bunny. His owner says he’s less of a battlepug and more of a moocherpug, but we can dig that! Aren’t all dogs, anyway?
