So, yesterday marked the two year anniversary of Battlepug! I suppose that I should’ve done something to celebrate. But this break we’ve been taking has been a little hectic (Some break, huh?). I’m wrapping my fourth issue of The Answer! for Dark Horse, and trying to get an issue of Revival and It Girl done at the same time. The last issue of Lookouts from Cryptozoic needs inking, and Jamie McKelvie has given me some beastly backgrounds to draw for Young Avengers 4.
So, it’s probably a good thing that Battlepug doesn’t start up for another week or I’d probably go nuts.
But when it does…. Get ready for silly insanity!
Speaking of which, look at this hipster!
That’s Nina. She’s a cutie. Her owner wants to know when Vol. 2 is coming out. Despite my best efforts, looks like it will be out the same time as last volume – June, I believe. I just got the cover colored and Dominic Marco kicked all kinds of butt on it. I promise you won’t be sorry if you get it!
But wait, Nina’s not done sticking her head where it doesn’t belong….

This here is Dexter (a rather popular pug name!). He’s a Pug of Doom and has his own facebook page. NERDS! (So does my dog). Looks like Dexter lives a FULL life!

So, how about this… A couple of needy pugs from Rescue Associations around the country.
MEET COLONEL AND TOMBI BOTH 12 YEARS OLD. Colonel is having troubles with his rear end and leaking. Tombi is fine Just old. They are both inside dogs and are completely bonded. Sleep like a pretzel as owner calls it. Owner cannot afford medical and had to relinquish. Unfortunately our rescue is struggling as well. I need someone to adopt as is or another rescue to take them. They are currently in Laguna Nigel. If you can help please email Suzi at adoptions@pugsandiego.com
Leroy who is now Moose was one of the pugs that just went to Chicago to his new home. Unfortuantely, after a visit to the vet a bump on the base of his tail turned out to be mass cell. He needs surgery and treatment asap. We are trying to help get him better asap. If you have any left over Christmas money and want to help Moose here is the link

Hey everybody! I hope this holiday season finds you and your families safe and happy and generally having an awesome time. I’ve a lot to be happy and thankful for this year, and much of that is because of you. So again, I’d like to say “Happy Holidays” and a heartfelt, “THANK YOU!”
