WOW. All of you who came to New York Comic Con this past weekend – THANK YOU! It was amazing. So nice to meet and see so many people that like what we’re doing. I kinda got a little emotional (don’t tell anybody!). Battlepug fans are the BEST fans. Seriously. I am beat, but it was worth it.
I came home to find out that Battlepug was nominated for another award! The Shel Dorf Awards wer founded in 2010. Along with the inaugural Detroit Fanfare, the Shel Dorf awards are dedicated to recognizing the comic industries best and brightest talents. Best of all, you can vote!

You got my Shel Dorf vote! It’s amazing I’ve never heard of him before. He has quite the legacy.
I don’t think you could write better lines for Jorges after that spider is dropped on him. Sherman Hemsley’s voice is unmistakably recognizable in those lines.
Thank CTHULLU I wasn’t the only one the read his lines in Shermans voice. Noticed the resemblence the first time he showed up. Is cool yes?

Kudos to you for your nomination! Well deserved it is, too! Seriously, Battlepug is one of the absolute BEST comics out there in ANY media, print or web. Fantastic art, well written, captivating characters and plot…….all just so well done.
