Some of Image’s top creators discuss the rise and fall — and the new rise — of genre comics and how they’re revitalizing and revolutionizing diversity in the comics canon with titles like Fatale, Five Ghosts, Revival, Peter Panzerfaust, Rat Queens, and Ravine. Moderated by Ron Richards, with Ed Brubaker, Frank Barbiere, Tim Seeley, Mike Norton, Kurtis J. Wiebe, and Ron Marz.

Spotlight on Mike Norton
Eisner Award-winning artist Mike Norton talks about his career, influences, and art process in an interview and audience Q&A with moderator John Siuntres, host of the Word Balloon Comic Book Podcast. They’ll look at Mike’s early years working on G.I. Joe and The Badger, his years creating heroes and villains for Marvel and DC, and his current groundbreaking work on the Image Comics series Revival and his own creation Battlepug. You’ll hear about Mike’s conversion from paper to digital drawing and his thoughts on the current comic book market.
